WU JIAHUI

WU JIAHUI

Wu Jiahui, a native of Hebei Province, now calls Beijing her home after graduating from the Sculpture Department at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. As a contemporary sculptor representing the post-80s generation, her "Little Woman" sculptures emanate a serene and refined aura. These figures, with their rounded faces, rosy cheeks, and delicate smiles, exude an innocence untainted by worldly concerns, embodying a quest for life's purest joys and simple pleasures. To them, life unfolds as a poetic journey, occasionally veering off course or encountering moments of melancholy. Yet, these challenges fail to dim their inner radiance; instead, they face them with a quiet resilience, ever attuned to the beauty that surrounds them. In their world, every experience is imbued with a sense of grace, elegance, and unbridled optimism.
